Nutrition Program

The Harris Brand Nutrition program will look to educate young athletes on the importance of their nutrition for performance and overall health. In addition we will look to guide student athletes to sport-specific eating and eating for success

Tarence Boateng

MHSC. RD, CSEP-CEP

Terence is a master’s trained Toronto-based registered dietitian and certified exercise physiologist. He bases his practice on giving his clients the tools necessary to maximize their agency. Terence’s goal is to empower the people he works with improve their own health and performance through the power of nutrition and exercise. He understands that nutritional science needs to be applied to people’s real life, whether it is in the field, in the office, or at home. He is excited to join the Harris Brand and offer both group and one-on-one nutrition recommendations to athletes who are aiming to bring their performance to the next level.

MICROSOFT TEAMS WORKSHOPS

4 themed workshops covering: importance of nutrition for athletes, reading a food label, macronutrients & micronutrients, water & electrolytes

DISCUSSION GROUP

Ongoing discussion group where athletes can ask questions and interact through online nutrition- related challenges
