Through the education of my parents, my hard work, dedication and passion for soccer, I was determined to get a scholarship to a college in the United States. And now I currently attend Penn State University, studying sports management and perusing my first love…soccer!”

Dequan Thomas
For me it was an easy choice to allow The Harris Brand to be my primary mentors in regards to pursuing my post-secondary athletic and academic goals. After seeing how diligent and supportive they were with my older brother Khalil Thomas, it only made sense. For me what stood out was how they turned uncertainty into a plan for my brother. In life for the most part the future will have many moments when things are unclear but with support like the Harris Brand there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Having a dedicated support system is the first step to anyone’s success.

Please join us by congratulating Jada Ellis from Brampton Ont. for signing with Radford University in Virginia. Before Signing, Jada played for Toronto Azzurri Blizzards soccer club. Jada will be starting her post secondary adventure in the fall and intends to study Criminal Justice. The Harris Brand will continue to support and follow Jada in her soccer and academic career.
